How would you describe your shoots?

I love to capture candid and natural moments of love, laughter and closeness. No forced smiles or awkward poses, no flash photography or backdrops that you've seen time and time again. I shoot with natural light, and let you lead the way.

I'm not sure my house is the most beautiful place for a shoot! 

Please never worry about if your home isn't big, fancy or 'pinterest worthy'! My job is to make your photos as personal to you as possible. I will move certain things about if needs be on the day, to ensure we get the best natural light and backgrounds possible but this isn't for you to worry about - I will work my magic don't you worry! However, if your home isn't where you want the shoot, our options are limitless, think of a location and we will make it happen! That's the beauty of lifestyle shoots!

How long do shoots last?

Typically family shoots last 1-1.5 hours, newborn shoots can be anywhere from 1.5-3 hours and mini shoots are 20 minutes long. Though I am very flexible when it comes to my main shoots as I will never leave if I haven't got the imagery.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, in order to secure your chosen date, a deposit is required. This is non-refundable and taken at time of booking. This will usually be 25% then the final payment will be due the week before the shoot for the shoot to go ahead.

How often do you do mini shoots?

I aim to do seasonal minis, around 2-4 mini shoots a year. These are great ways to get some inexpensive updated photos of your family, but be quick as they are limited so they sell out extremely quickly!

Can you help style and create the ideas for the shoot?

Absolutely! You will receive a phone consultation regarding your vision, this is when we will discuss styling, colour palettes and any inspiration you may have. This is all to help me create the best and most personal gallery for you and your family. I also adore coming up with innovative and creative ideas, for example, how to announce your pregnancy (so much fun!), so if you want to discuss this, please just contact me and I will work my magic!

Would you travel for a shoot?

Absolutely! Again, this is something that would need to be discussed at the phone consultation, however, I am always up for travelling to a magical location for a shoot! I love to travel!

Do you offer digital images?

Yes, I have packages available, some which include prints, as well as a 'digital only' package.

Do you charge to reopen a gallery?

Yes, you have one month to download your images and save them to a safe place (computer, USB etc), just before the month is up, you will receive an email to remind you to choose and download your images. If you miss the month deadline, it is £20 to reopen a gallery.

How long do you store images for?

All of your photographs are stored for a year, after that they get deleted so please make sure you save and back up any photos that you have done with Magically Wild Photography before a year is up.

Do you just take photos of families/children?

I typically do shoots for families, babies, couples, individuals or for events. If you have something else in mind, please get in touch! From 2023 I will also be shooting weddings!!!
